Aerius Management was founded with the vision of providing a differentiated service and unmatched value to a select and limited group of aircraft owners, operators, and users. Our focus is on transparency, advocacy, and providing a complete end-to-end aviation solution for our clients.
We specialize in managing, staffing, and maintaining business aircraft with an emphasis on engaging with each client-owner as their flight department. Our deep industry experience, attention to detail, and unique business model have allowed us to grow into a regional leader in aviation services.
For individuals and companies seeking the advocacy, control, and service consistent with an independent flight operation, yet with the economic, safety, and process benefits of fleet management, our service offers a unique and differentiated option.
Aerius Management was established in 2012 with the vision of providing support to a select and limited group of private and business aircraft owners. Our objective is to occupy the space between outsourced flight operations and full internal management. Our Clients view us much more as members of their team than an outside vendor. Think of us as a cooperative group of independent operators.
The traditional structure for aircraft management insulates the owner from day-to-day operations, and often lacks financial and operational transparency.
Aerius Management has pioneered a fresh, collaborative approach. While our service is “turn-key,” we find that most of our Clients prefer to take an active role in decision making and appreciate a recurring and detailed analysis of efficiencies. In this way we provide our Clients with transparency that is unmatched in our industry.
Our group buying strategy offers broad volume discounts and concessions on jet fuel, hangarage, aircraft maintenance, and other services. The associated savings is passed directly to our owner group. Our core services include, but are not limited to:
As advocate managers, our fee structure is simple. No markup on parts, fuel, hangar fees or any of the services we procure for you. We sit on the same side of the table as our clients in all negotiations. Our revenue is limited to a fixed monthly administrative (management) fee. All expenses reimbursed to Aerius Management are handled on a passthrough basis with zero markup.
Our dedication to safety starts with a set of operational policies and procedures, carefully and rigorously developed with the guidance of the IS-BAO, that govern the method and discipline with which we operate our fleet. All flight segments are preceded by a formal risk assessment and a detailed performance analysis. In addition, all flight operations personnel are enrolled in a DOT/FAA compliant drug and alcohol program and attend frequent simulator training at a factory-authorized provider. The training, guidance, and supervision provided to our flight crews dramatically exceeds what is required under FAR Part 91 flight rules, and in many cases surpasses the guidance of FAR Part 135.
Since 2012, Aerius Management has steadily and quietly built a reputation for unmatched client focus, transparency, and strong advocacy in Part 91 aircraft management, acquisitions, and sales services. Our singular focus on client relationships has brought us to the point where we can claim our status as the largest and most trusted manager of business aircraft in our region.
We believe that our success is firmly rooted in our culture of placing our clients and employees first and invite you to contact us to discuss how we might serve your aviation needs.
Aerius Management manages aircraft for many of our clients, and they have also represented many of our clients in the acquisition of their aircraft. Having the ear of the person in the back of the plane, I can say without question that our clients love Ryan and his team. Aerius provides a level of transparency that works to their advantage, as owners see an unusual level of proactive management of their expenses in a way that returns value to the bottom line. As a professional who has purchased thousands of aircraft, including putting many of them with management companies, I can also say that they are a pleasure to work with. I recommend Aerius Management without reservation based on their quality of work and their level of service.
With a background of over 23 years in business aviation, Ryan has turbojet type ratings in the Classic Learjet series, Learjet 60, Citation 525, Gulfstream IV, and Gulfstream G650. With his strong background in FBO operations and flight department management, and as an active corporate pilot, Ryan has an insider’s knowledge into all aspects of business aircraft use; from budgeting, maintenance, and flight operations, to the sale or replacement of an asset. He has a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from the University of Washington, is an NBAA Certified Aviation Manager, and served on the Board of Directors of the Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association from 2013 through 2018.
Martin joined our team in September of 2017 after spending 10 years growing and ultimately selling a small business. His extensive background in FBO management, charter sales, and managed aircraft operations add significant depth to our asset management experience. His reputation in the industry is unmatched. In his role as Vice President of Aircraft Management, Martin’s focus is on delivering value to our managed clients, finding and maximizing new efficiencies, and ensuring our daily operations remain compliant with regulatory and voluntary standards.
Driven by an interest in exploring the rich aviation and cultural history of the Pacific Northwest, Megan moved to the Seattle area from South Florida and joined our team in October of 2022. She started her career in aviation working as a flight coordinator for a Part-135 on-demand air ambulance company that conducted missions all over the world. Megan was quickly promoted to Operations Manager and oversaw a team of dispatchers in a 24/7 operations center. Within this role, she also served as a liaison between the other departments including the medical crews, pilots, maintenance as well as the representatives working directly with the families. She worked with global and local health and aviation ministries to ensure compliance and safety of the patients, crew, and aircraft during complex, time-critical operations. During this time, Megan also developed business relationships with vendors and suppliers that would improve the efficiency of the operation in each region. As part of the Aerius Team, Megan manages our day-to-day financial operations and provides support to our flight coordinator for several of the aircraft we manage.

With type ratings on several aircraft, David currently flies the Pilatus PC12, Citation CJ3, Gulfstream GIV, and DeHavilland Beaver. As Safety Director, David is responsible for the management and administration of our Safety Management System, and advises on modifications to our policies, procedures, and crew training program.
Matt began his aviation journey 29 years ago earning his licenses in High School including Airframe and Powerplant certificates. With that box checked, he transitioned to the military where he spent 6 years in the Coast Guard C-130 Search and Rescue division out of Kodiak Alaska, followed by 16 amazing years in the Air Force. Matt comes to Aerius with previous Part 135 experience and leadership that includes a strong focus on people and company culture. As Chief Pilot, Matt is our flight crews’ primary point of contact, supports the development and supervision of flight standards, and promotes our safety and customer-oriented initiatives.
